Mystery Solved : bigger coffee cup give better value for money ?!

[FACT CHECK]: Milk costs 4 pints £1, aka, cheap. Coffee bean is 10x more expensive. Coffee machines take similar amount for a cup. Simple maths, if one thinks bigger cup (or bowl) gives better value for money. This is WRONG !

Nowsaday serious coffee shops gives smaller cup, but better coffee beans. Consider that good coffee beans is much more expensive, easily 3-5 times more than commercial beans (which most cafe used). We are talking about quality, not quantity.

MYSTERY SOLVED !

We use standard cup size (being a coffee trainer, we always use standard). All machines take ~same amount of coffee. A bigger cup cannot give you "more" coffee, just more milk, or more water. If one really needs more milk, just ask. We give more milk up to what he/she would like.

SUPPORT LOCAL BUSINESS PLEASE !

 ----------------------------------------------------------

At this moment the whole country is undergoing a very difficult time. Not mentioned how many lives and jobs we have lost. Every small and local business is now facing the biggest challenge than ever before. Fast food chains, coffee shop chains, they are financially alright, backed up by the big corporation. However this is a different world for small and local business. Once they are closed, they are closed.

In Northfield, we have already seen a dozen of empty shops over the high street. There will be more. Therefore, I am obliged for everyone who support local small business, not just us.

Thank you for your supports.

Coffee Farm

This is the coffee farm, one of our coffee bean coming from here. The place is simple and beautiful, same for the people here.

Farmer hand pick the ripe red cherry. We should give some more respect to coffee farmer. Without their hard work, we would not be able to create the good cup of coffee for you.  The work is hard but pay is not high.

We are trying to source direct from coffee farms, whenever possible. Currently we are sourcing from both farms as well as distributors. I hope we will become big enough to source most of beans direct from coffee farms. Note not all farmers have ability to sell overseas. In fact most of them can not. We need to be big enough to do this. We are trying and targeting to do this more.
